Editing a Document

Within a Sourcing Project, the ‘Documents’ tab is a central storage location for all documents related to the  Solicitation.  It houses the associated ‘Sourcing Project Documents,’ ‘Solicitation Documents,’ and the ‘Sourcing Event,’ which serves as the main vehicle for communication with vendors.

Accessing Documents

To access the document to edit, click the 'Documents' tab within the Sourcing Project and open the folder containing the document.

Modifying a Document in MS Word

Downloading and opening the document in MS Word allows the user to make edits and additions that can easily be tracked.  This makes reviewing more efficient so sourcing documents can be approved in a timely manner.
