What training opportunities are available to me?
Each State agency, K-12 school system, and community college has an assigned E-Procurement trainer that can provide new and refresher user training. Additionally, on a monthly basis, the Department of Administration, Division of Purchase and Contract, holds E-Procurement and eQuote training sessions in Raleigh, NC. These classes are open to all E-Procurement users. Interested users are required to register online to participate.
Are there training materials available online?
Yes, training materials are available to users online and are organized by functional area and topic. The job aids are located under the User Training Section of the website. Please contact the E-Procurement Help Desk at 888-211-7440 to obtain the login information for access to these job aids.
Are there costs associated with attending training sessions?
There is no cost to attend central training sessions; however, availability is limited to a first come first serve basis. Travel and lodging expenses are the responsibility of the trainee.
I am the assigned E-Procurement trainer for my entity and would like to conduct refresher training. How do I get started?
Entity trainers should contact the E-Procurement Team to gain access to the training environment and obtain training IDs. NCAS and LEA users should contact Lois Poole at 919-807-4548 or lois.poole@doa.nc.gov. Community College users should contact Tony Vinogradov at 919-807-4552 or tony.vinogradov@doa.nc.gov.
I am unable to travel to central training. Does the E-Procurement Team provide onsite training?
Onsite training is not available at this time; however, we can provide training over the phone on a one-on-one basis. In preparation for the phone training, please make sure to have available requisitions and/or eQuotes for entry. Please contact the E-Procurement Help Desk at 888-211-7440 to schedule a one-on-one training session.
