Understanding FOB Codes

The FOB code is a required field that the requestor must populate when creating a requisition. The FOB, or Freight On Board, code allows the requestor to specify how freight charges should be applied to the purchase. Please ask your purchasing department which one you should use if you are unsure. EPLite users can select from the following FOB code options:
 
  • Destination - Destination freight paid by vendor and included in the price
  • Shipping Point - Destination freight paid by vendor and invoiced to buyer
