System Searches

The system search functionality gives each user the ability to search NC E-Procurement to locate and view all of their personal requisition, purchase order, and receipt information. The system search functionality on NC E-Procurement is a quick and easy way for users to locate their information. It is a great search tool even when a user does not have much information to conduct a search. System searching offers a wide range of search criteria to locate the information required. For example, a user can search by account code, commodity code, creation date, supplier name, approver name, item description, and need by date to locate the requisition. If a user is given the ‘Inquirer’ role, they will have the ability to search for requisitions of other employees within their entity. The user can populate the ‘Created on behalf of’ field on the Create Search page with another employee’s name to search and view their requisitions and purchase orders. A user can save this search for future use by selecting the ‘Save Search’ button. Once the search is saved it can be accessed via the System Searches link on the Shortcut Menu.
 
  • Click on the "System Searches" link on the Shortcut menu of the Ariba Homepage
  • Click on the "New Search" link. The Create Search page displays
  • Click the "Add/Remove Search Filters" link. The Select Filters page displays
  • Check the checkboxes next to the search filters necessary
  • Click the 'OK' button. The Create a Search page displays. It contains search fields for the filters just selected
  • Populate the appropriate search fields and click the Search button. Search results should be displayed. The user can view the purchase orders by clicking on the purchase order number or title.
 
Note to EPLite Users: Populate the Legacy Document ID field with the purchase order number from the respective financial system, including the LEA ID (ex. 1200000012345) or NC E-Procurement ID (ex.WAKETECHP012345).
