Everything You Need to Know About eQuote

  1. You can view detailed eQuote information, including supplier responses, by selecting the appropriate Line Item Description on the Requisition Summary tab.
  2. The title of an eQuote defaults to the Requisition title. You can modify an eQuote title; however, it will not change the title of the requisition. Descriptive eQuote titles provide vendors additional information on the type of request.
  3. 'Response Due Date' is a required field in eQuote which defaults to 6 business days from the eQuote creation date. Modifying 'Response Due Date'; allows vendors sufficient response time to optimize the number of vendor responses received.
  4. Awarded eQuote line items do not have defaulted commodity codes. To select a commodity code, edit the line item and select the commodity code best suited for your purchase.
  5. Provide your contact information, including name, phone number, and email address, on every eQuote request. This provides vendors a way to contact you if any questions arise about the items requested on the eQuote.
  6. You can include up to 5 attachments, under 100kb each, on an eQuote. When attaching PDF and image files to eQuotes, be aware that these files are typically larger than 100kb each.
  7. The eQuote tool is available for quoting and purchasing services. For additional information please visit the Training Job Aids section of the website.
