Using E-Procurement Language On Bids and Quotes

In order to avoid confusion regarding the NC E-Procurement transaction fee, consider attaching the State’s general contract terms and conditions to any new bid solicitations that may be issued through NC E-Procurement or incorporating similar language into your entity specific Terms and Conditions.

If an LEA or Community College plans to issue a contract using NC E-Procurement, the language in the North Carolina General Contract Terms and Conditions may be used. The following language should also be included in the contract specifications:
“ATTENTION: This solicitation may be issued using the NC E-Procurement Service. See paragraph #19 of the attached General Contract Terms and Conditions.

The Terms and Conditions made part of this solicitation contain new language necessary for implementation of North Carolina’s Statewide E-Procurement initiative.

It is the offeror’s responsibility to read these terms and conditions carefully and consider them in preparing the offer. By signature offeror acknowledges acceptance of all terms and conditions, including those related to e-procurement."
