Entity Client Display Settings Update

In order to avoid unexpected down times, each Community College and LEA should confirm that the Entity Client PC settings are always active during business hours, and the display settings do not allow a sleep (or inactive) setting. To check the display settings:

  1. Go to the 'Start' menu on the PC
  2. Select 'Control Panel'
  3. Select 'Performance and Maintenance' (Windows XP) or 'System and Security' (Windows 7)
  4. Select 'Power Options'
  5. Confirm all settings for sleep, hibernate, etc. are turned off

Note: For other operating systems running on the Entity Client PC, please consult the specific operating system documentation for instructions on ensuring that sleep and/or hibernate settings are turned off.
