Creating a Favorite List

For regularly purchased state term contract items, users can create ‘Favorites’ groups to save these items for use on future requisitions without having to search the catalog each time. Saved favorites' information, such as item price and description, is updated when a catalog is updated. To create a favorites’ group in NC E-Procurement, use the following steps:
 
Adding a favorite to a new group
  1. Perform a catalog search for your item
  2. Select the 'Add to Favorites' link to the right of the item and then select ’Other’ from the menu display
  3. Enter a name for the favorites group in the 'New group name' field and click 'Create Group'
  4. To add saved item to the new favorites group, check the box next to the new favorite group and click 'Add Item'
  5. User will be returned to the catalog list view and saved item will display a star next to it designating it as a favorite
Adding a favorite to an existing group
  1. To add a catalog item to an already created Favorites Group, click the 'Add to Favorites' link and select the Favorites Group to save the item in
Accessing favorites on future requisitions
  1. To access your Favorites Groups on future requisitions, complete the Title section and click 'Add Items'
  2. From the catalog search 'Options' menu, select 'Favorites.' This will customize the catalog search panel to include a Favorites dropdown box
  3. From the 'Favorites' dropdown box, select the Favorites Group to display.
